Mini Split Ductless Heating Air Conditioning AC HVAC {city01} CA

All you Need to Know about Mini Split Ductless Heating/AC HVAC Systems.. performancebasedheatingandair.com

Ductless air conditioning systems have become popular these days for a number of reasons. These systems are also known as mini-splits and are able to work well without any problems that come with ducted systems. By choosing the ductless system, you can manage to regulate the temperature from room to room a little bit better and reduce energy loss. Ductless air conditioners will provide you with the perfect way to maintain the internal climate of your office or home, no matter how the weather is outside. Your temperatures will be warm during winter and cool during the summer.

Many homes and offices are usually built with a central HVAC system. The system is known as a split system and it is separated into two parts. There is an outdoor condenser/compressor that is put outside and it is connected to an indoor air handling unit which can be adjusted using a thermostat. The outdoor and indoor units are connected through copper tubing lines responsible for the circulation of refrigerant between the coils of the two units. There are return and supply ducts that circulate the air. Supply duct lines supply conditioned air to the rooms while the return ducts bring it back.

The problem arises when there are home additions or installation of newer HVAC equipment in old office and homes that don’t have ductwork. There is no one who likes cutting through the floors and walls so as to install new ducts. The good thing is that there is no need of doing this when using ductless technology. Ductless HVAC systems don’t need air ducts because they are able to circulate the air without them.

Mini-split, also known as ductless systems work in a simple way. The air handling unit takes air from the room (this is the unit that is usually inside of offices or homes). This air is then transported to the condenser (which is located outside) by a number of pipes that are in contact with the coolant. If the weather is hot, the hot air will come in contact with these coils, and transfer of energy takes place. The coolant liquid is forced to turn to gas by the increase in temperature, and then it goes back to the condenser unit where the electricity cools it and it becomes liquid. The cool air is released to the room, and this cycle repeats itself until the temperature you want is attained.

Ductless HVAC systems offer more flexibility than the normal systems. They can be installed in any room you want because there is no need of installing ductwork throughout the house. They are perfect for offices, apartments, and shared spaces because they are independently controlled.

Controlling the system is very easy. The units come with remote controls that give you the chance to set the temperature in each of the rooms. One outdoor condensing unit is able to support up to eight indoor air handler units, making it a great option for large spaces. There are many benefits you can expect to get from choosing a ductless system. Some of them include;

The normal HVAC systems can be inefficient. The use of ducts means there is the risk of leakage, equalizing the temperatures of the outside air and inside of the room. If the outdoor has a high temperature, warm air will come inside the room, and this will result in the system working harder. If the outside has a low temperature, cold air comes inside the room, and this means the system will have to use more energy to heat the room. By eliminating ductwork, the ductless system is able to avoid these problems. This will lead to reduced energy expenditure, which is good for the environment.

Quick and Easy Installation
Installing a ducted system is a lot of work and can disrupt your daily activities. The duct has to be installed and connected with the system, and this alone can take weeks. Installing a ductless system is not that hard. Separate systems can be fitted room by room, and the work can be done in a couple of hours. The multi-split systems need small holes, and there is no need for plastering or repairing the walls. The holes usually have a diameter of about three inches, and they have little to no structural impact on the building.

They cost less
The cost of energy has continued to increase, while the income has remained the same. This is why more and more people are looking for ways to cut down their energy consumption. Heating and cooling account for most of the energy consumed by a home or office. Ductless systems are able to save you a lot of money because they use less power. There is 30 percent of energy costs of cooling a room that is lost by the ducts, and this means ductless systems don’t have this problem in {city01} California minisplits.
